Patriotic Legal Immigrants USA, Inc. (PLIUSA) is a grassroots 527 organization founded by Mr. Yukong Zhao, Mr. Agustin Blazquez, Mr. Jose Castillo, Ms. Sendra Dorce, Mr. Garry Guan, Dr. Ajay Kathori, Mr. James Sutton, Ms. Stacy Yuan and other leaders in the legal immigrant community nationwide.
Mr. Yukong Zhao is a nationally recognized Asian American leader and civil-rights advocate. He started his journey of defending America’s founding principles since 2014. Mr. Zhao co-founded Asian American Coalition for Education (AACE) in 2015. Under his leadership, AACE has made a difference on equal education rights for ALL Americans, including the Federal Government’s adoption of AACE policy recommendations on college admissions and federal investigation of anti-Asian discrimination of Harvard University and Yale University.
As someone whose family suffered miserably during China’s Cultural Revolution and socialism, in recent years, Mr. Zhao has expanded the endeavors in defending America’s founding principles. He has published articles and given speeches on fighting against political correctness, socialism, and ongoing Cultural Revolution in America.
Mr. Agustin Blazquez is the producer & director of AB Independent Productions (ABIP). Referred to in 2007 by late film critic Roberto Fandiño in Revista Hispano Cubana, as “one of the most representative filmmaker in exile and his documentaries must be valued at the same height as the best of this genre,” Agustin Blazquez was born in Cardenas, Cuba.
He has written over 300 published articles about Cuban issues since 1968. His articles appeared in the Houston Chronicle, The Washington Post,
The Washington Times, Washington Inquirer, etc. in the U.S. and abroad. In 1995, his first documentary of the series COVERING CUBA opened at the American Film Institute in the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. Since then he has completed 36 more documentaries.
Mr. Jose Castillo was born in New Orleans, but spent his early years in Honduras. Growing up there, Jose was exposed to a corrupt-failed, big government. His experience there fostered his great appreciation for American Constitution and our rights as citizens. As a father, he wants to ensure that his daughter grows up in the America that our founding fathers envisioned for all of us.
Jose obtained a Management degree at the University of New Orleans and a Master of Business Administration degree from Tulane University.
He has over a decade of experience in Management in several theme parks and resorts across Central Florida.
Ms. Sendra Dorcé was born in Port-au-Prince Haiti and grew up in America, where she had opportunities to achieve her American Dream. She became an expert Financier for close to two decades specializing in global real asset investments. She was president of a real estate finance company. She hosted a radio show on Real Estate Financing sponsored by Bank of America and was a senior executive at HSBC. She is the Founder and CEO of Send'Or Capital Ltd., Send'Or International Properties and Send'Or TV. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Behavioral Sciences, a Masters in Science in international Conflict Analysis and Resolution-Negotiations, and an MBA from Sir John Cass Business School in London.
With personal observation of the decline of Haiti, Ms. Dorcé deeply cares about America's future. She hosts Frankly Speaking with Sendra D, Seminole County Political Debates, Seminole Support Blue Demonstration, And S&P GlobalStartup Pitch Events.
Mr. Garry Guan is a professional interpreter/translator, small business owner, entrepreneur and active Rotarian. And, above all, a dedicated father and husband. Coming from China in 1987, he immediately embraced American culture and heritage as he pursued his Ph.D. degree in Anthropology and Archaeology at University of Pittsburgh. Moving to Georgia in 1992, he has been a passionate volunteer and leader with a number of non-profit community and professional organizations for over 28 years, including Asian American Resource Center (AARC), Partnership for
Community Action (PCA), National Families in Action (NFIA), Atlanta Association of Interpreters Translators (AAIT) and many others. A member of Norcross First United Methodist Church, he has participated in a mission trip to Nicaragua and as President of Rotary Club of North Atlanta went on a humanitarian trip to Iquitos, Peru. Garry is a graduate of Atlanta Regional Leadership Institute in 2006. He was inducted into Who’s Who in Asian American Communities in 2007.
Dr. Ajay Kothari is President and Founder of Astrox Corporation, an Aerospace R&D company located in suburban Washington DC. His PhD and MS in Aerospace Engineering are from University of Maryland. He has over 45 professional publications at aerospace conferences and journals, and also awarded National Merit Scholarship. Believing definitely in the value systems of USA of importance of education, hard work, merit-basis, racial equality, he has been on the Board of Directors of AACE for several years and has published opinion articles on the subject.
Sitting on a farm in the middle of a jungle in India in 60’s, he was inspired watching the splash landings of Apollo by the openness and diligence of USA in space which he wants to help bring back as a legal immigrant. He was awarded the "Engineer of the Year" award by ASEI in 2011, NFIA in 2018 and was the president of ASEI National Capital Chapter for 2014 & 2015. He has been invited to speak on aerospace subjects by many entities, interviewed on television shows and radio, and his articles on space related and other topics have been published by various newspapers. He is also the first Indian-American member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) for Washington-Baltimore region, having acted in a few TV shows as a hobby in US like “Law and Order”, “Unsolved Mysteries”, “The Wire”, and others for NBC, HBO. He is also an artist having exhibited his paintings at galleries and magazines.
Mr. James W. Sutton is an American who firmly believes in legal immigration. Mr. Sutton has worked with Agustin Blazquez for decades to produce written and video educational material. The focus of their work is the importance of the Constitution in association with legal immigrants and the benefits for the country and the immigrants themselves. These new Americans bring knowledge and experiences that are critical to continuing the success of the United States of America.
